DIY Lip Balm and BTS of a Podcast Interview
Recently, I had the opportunity to be interviewed by Julian Stamboulieh (The Nerdy Filmmaker) for his new podcast “Out of Frame.” I’ve known Julian for a few years as we have shared the same agent twice and worked on Vincenzo together. Although I’ve met him a few times he didn’t really know much about me personally. It was fun to open up and talk about my experience being both an actor and content creator. I think a lot of you will appreciate the candid interview listening to me talk very casually. This has been my most personal interview yet.
A few days before leaving for the podcast recording, I decided to make some lip balm to gift The Nerdy Filmmaker as a gesture of appreciation. This is my recipe. It makes a more firm lip balm so you don’t need to apply it too often, and it doesn’t melt easily in the summertime. If you like it less solid you can add more oil.
Cocoa butter Lip Balm
10g beeswax
15g cocoa butter
5g shea butter
25g avocado oil
Melt it in a double boiler method, it filled 2 lip balm containers.
As I prepared for the interview, I made sure to pack my bag with all the essentials I would need. Because I was on my period I had my Ruby Cup and period underwear from Knix: Disount Code: ECO.FRIENDLY.ACTRESS_KNIXLOVE
I bring you along the public transit system here in Montreal for a nice relaxing way to travel across the city.
It was a very fun interview with a lot of laughs all around.
I hope you enjoy watching it as much as I enjoyed being on it.
